STMC
Lo STMC (Standardized Test Methods Committee) è una commissione internazionale creata per ricercare e promuovere metodi di test standardizzati per l’industria delle cartucce per stampanti. I metodi di prova vengono utilizzati per valutare le prestazioni delle cartucce di toner. Quando si utilizzano metodi di test approvati, è possibile testare una cartuccia ovunque e ottenere gli stessi risultati indipendentemente da chi sta testando.
L’STMC utilizza alcuni metodi di prova dell’ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials), come ASTM F1856, per le prestazioni, e ASTM F 2036, per la densità dell’immagine e lo sfondo. I metodi di test hanno il solo scopo di confrontare una cartuccia finita con un’altra, solitamente da un produttore di apparecchiature originali. Non misura i componenti.
Le cartucce toner e i tamburi Xerox® Everyday sono prodotti in stabilimenti certificati STMC.
